Dog Days! 5 Things EP: The Big Step

All this past week I've really been trying to change my outlook... be more positive, more encouraging. Over the past few months (if not longer) there's been this lingering negativity that I've clung to, some might refer to it as a "chip on one's shoulder" (I see it as more of a berg). In any case, it's brooded this sarcasm which while initially quick whitted and humorous because nastilly causting and unflattering. This is no good thing. It festers in relationships and causes too much tention. So, I'm changing things up... smiling more, avoiding agitants and just bringing to the forefront the philosophy I've always kept off in my mind (which tends to burgeon when things go awry). "Things happen"... whether you want them to or not. There's no rhyme or reason, just happenstance, so if you want something to go in your favor, you've got to set the motion into action and most importantly follow through with it. So I think today is all about taking that step towards something... in the Nike sort of way... you know, JUST DO IT!
